Yog Sutra Chapter 3 - Vibhūti Padaḥ
Yog Sutra Chapter 3 - Vibhūti Padaḥ
The third chapter, Vibhūti Pāda, explores the mind’s potential when freed from distractions through the practices outlined in the previous chapters. With this clarity, the mind can deeply understand objects and concepts, opening the door to new and specialized realms of knowledge. However, this newfound insight can also become a source of distraction, preventing the practitioner from reaching the ultimate state of inner peace—freedom from disturbance at all times. The chapter also introduces the sixth, seventh, and eighth components of yoga, further building upon the foundation laid in Chapter 2.
